(English Version)

Yasmina Habra is a singer, songwriter and musician.

Born in Lebanon during the war, she lived there for more than six years before settling with her family in Paris.

She quickly developed a love and talent for music. She decides quite naturally to dedicate her life to singing et songwriting from a very young age.

She lives her passion in Paris on stages, theatres and in recording studios, with, among other French composers, Michel Legrand (« Les Parapluies de Cherbourd », Barbara Streisand, etc …) and Jean-Claude Vannier (Mauranne, Michel Jonaz) … She also participates in musicals as a composer and performer.

Yasmina writes and composes her songs, inspired by her plural culture : from pop music to the Byzantine songs of her childhood, from East to West.

After a few years, Yasmina fell in love with Brittany and decided to settle there, where she wrote and recorded her albums :

– « Everland », a hymn to the Earth, to the sea and to Love, produced by famous drummer and jazzman Claude Salmiéri, in a pop music style, with Celtic and oriental vibes. This album, released digitally in late 2017, is the result of the participation of Yasmina’s internet fans ;

– « Elle et moi », expressing her sensitivity only with her voice and the piano, through covers and compositions ;

– « L’amour du monde » (« Love of the world »), closer to her plural culture, in a pop-rock-world music style, with more spiritual accents, offering, in addition to compositions in English and French, revisited Byzantine songs in Greek and Arabic, and songs in Aramaic.

– « Born again », more pop and more universal. A « feel good » album, full of joy and colors, mainly in English, with two titles in French, and a pop version of her « Ave Maria » in Aramaic.
